Spotted Redshank.

There were two adults down at Goldcliff lagoons today, one darker than the other but both in breeding plumage. They look so different at this stage. spottedredshank
Also today of note as I was leaving the Goldcliff area was a Common Crane circling up high before dissapearing out of sight. You can’t but admire the sheer beauty of fields of bright yellow Rapeseed on the landscape at the moment. The fields of yellow are so vibrant and eye catching, such as this one taken recently just before Abergavenny. flowers
